The system can also be powered by an extra 24V 12Ah automotive/marine type battery (not mandatory) and a 20W solar panel (not included). Two 12V batteries connected in series provide the required 24V power source. It's important to note that the DPS180-U cannot be connected to a battery or solar panel. However, you can use the UPS01 adapter (not included) to charge the battery and securely regulate the solar charging current.
